Guys,
I know with newer cars when ever you pulled a head you would need to replace the bolts do to stretching. My question is in my 57' I have a 69' 351w, if i pull the head do I do the same? I measured a new one, and the old one and no difference.
Thanks,

No you do not need to replace the head bolts.  Just clean the bolt, the hole, apply torque lube and go for it.  The new engines use "torque to yield" and they do need to be replaced when re-assembling the engine.

Always good to replace 40yr old headbolts (Rods and mains too).
