Have to brag about my kid a little

My middle son is a junior in High school. And this weekend he made it to State Wrestling tournaments. This is his first year going, but has lettered wrestling Varsity since 7th grade. Now he has to prepare himself for the first State match 182lb this Friday night!

Last year he wrestled the 170lb class and that is one tough weight there. This year came around, he didn't want to cut weight. He weighed 175, but wanted to eat what he could this season. So he went up to the 182lb. Ate what he wanted, consistantly weighed 172-175, even wrestled up to 195lb a few times and won those.Hopefully he can go a little way on it. But his 2nd bout (if he wins the 1st) would be against the #1 ranked kid in the state.

   That boy must make you proud! Just making it to the tournament is quite a accomplishment. Wish him luck for me!

Will do. He knows he has to go hard or go home now. But it is quite an experience!
