EASTER, do this with the kids.........

We jokingly refer to this as the Easter miracle at our house and its a great and fun thing to do with the younger kids or grandkids.

First thing you have to make sure the kids know it only works on Easter an no other day.

Step 1, purchase some jelly beans and some lollipops [we use tootsie pops]

Step 2, have the kid plant some jelly beans in your flower beds. Be vigilant and observe areas they ''seeded''.

Step 3, after they go to bed go out and plant the lollipops standing upright like flowers.

Step 4, hand them a basket and remind them its time to harvest the Easter miracle.

               Goes without saying have a camera available to record steps 2 & 4, they are true Kodak moments.

My 12 year old grandaughter started doing this when she was 3 and mentioned it yesterday, sugar addict she is.

Yup, wish it had been mine not sure where/who started this one of my daughters friends told her and its become a tradition at our house and I keep passing it on. We have pictures stashed away someplace of the first time we did it and the look on her face was full of wonder.

My kids are to old. BUT I did share this on facebook. And one of my friends did do it. Posted pics of planting the beans, and posted a pic of suckers this am in the pots. Have not heard what the kids reaction were yet!

But I do love this idea Zap!
