300 mile road trip no pics this time

this was round trip 300 + miles. I know for some of you guys
with your 57 thats just a little ride in the park.

This past Saturday  I drove it on mostly a 2 lane highway. Took
it to Great Lakes Dragway. I did not run it down the track.
Made the trip with out any problems, other than I forgot the
sims card needed for my camera.

I saw a lot of bikers out ridding, and you know the secrete nod
and hand wave they do to each other. Well some would do that to me, that
was pretty cool. A few times at stop signs / lights they even B.S.ed with me about the car.

That was the icing on the cake.

6cyl, that sounds great! When ever I drive my 57' most bikers will give me the wave also. I don't know if they like the car, or appreciate the fact that if you drive a classic then you are driving with your A game! Lol! Let's face it, if you are on a crotch rocket, most of the idiots behind the wheel are dangerous! Glad you had fun, any special reason for the trip? I'll be driving the family to my boy's graduation this Saturday, but no longer trips planned, still working out the bugs. Thanks, Tim

Summerttime is great. Sounds like a neat trip..300 round trip miles is just about right for a nice ride...although from Amarillo, 150 miles will only get you on your way to someplace
