We are very lucky here in So Calif...I plug a great local radiator shop in the beginning of this video...

My next step is to get my fuel gauge and speedometer to this local shop...seems to be the only one left locally...

I guess another service going by the wayside. To many new plastic radiators to keep them in business. I suspect there will be a few shops left around the country that'll repair the old school radiators...as long as they can get the needed materials to do it.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

One of my very good friends owns Ace Rad in London Ontario...Jim has been doing it since the 70's...... he is finding it very tuff in the last 6 years.... business is very slow at times..... just like wrecking yards.... they are becoming obsolete...... sad.

Thank God we still have one little shop in town. The guy got me new top and bottom tanks for my 60 F100, a better design then the originals, top one kept splitting at the seam, said the core was better then the new ones they make today, cleaned it and put it back together.
All the "radiator technicians" know how to do these days is throw them away and put in a new one..

I had mine recored over the winter. They said they could sell me a new aluminum one cheaper but I wanted to keep it original. You just have to look for a older shop and expect to pay a little more.

There is a radiator shop in Pittsfield, Mass. Rapid radiator. Stan does well by doing other mechanical work and not just relying on old car and truck radiators.

Mine was done by Donleys radiator in Dayton Ohio. Also Cleaned out my original gas tank too.
