Thought I'd share a little wiring porn with you folks. These pictures are of my new factory style wiring harness that I purchased from Narragansett Reproductions. They were able to supply every wire in the car. The harness that feeds the rear of the car was not in their catalog, being a wagon it is different. I sent what was left of my original harness and they reproduced it. Turns out the only difference was the length . Each harness came with a schematic that could be read without an engineering degree.
I have used Ron Francis wiring before and have found them to be excellent in both quality and ease of installation but I wanted original wiring in this car. Perhaps I am crazy ?

That looks good, has all the stock colors on the wires and hoods

Petew,
The more I look at your new kit, the more I really like it.This is the route I want to go.I peered thru there site and the prices are not out of range and comparable to others.
Very nice.

Jeff,
What I sent pictures of is about a third of what's in the box. The quality is great and the pricing really wasn't all that bad. I spent about $1,000 for all the wiring including battery cables. I think a complete kit from Ron Francis may have been a bit less but probably not much.
The only problem is that they build to order so it takes a little time .

Thanks Petew for the info,I will contact them and see how much it will differ(by very little I assume ) for my FE.I really want a stock look for my application.
Again. thanks for sharing.
BTW,Pete. was it necessary to send them your old wiring?Or did you do that for your own comfort zone?I have all mine in a box(I am a supreme pack Rat)

Jeff, I only had to send them the body harness to duplicate because they didn't have a a print of a station wagon body harness to build one from..
Give them a call they are pretty easy to work with. I think the y block harness would work with and FE or you could just use an engine harness for a 58 since they came with an FE and it is essentially the same car as the 57.
