over drive cable

i am in the process of putting a overdrive in my wagon.what side did ford put the lock out cable under the dash?

I kinda remember it on the right hand side of the steering column, but I'm not all that sure anymore.
No doubt Hiball Jim will know for sure.

It's on the right side. If you look at the bottom lip of the dash you'll see the two holes the bracket mounts to. It's underneath the heater controls the best I remember, directly under the fan switch. Mine had one.
