262 engine

i found a 262 6 cylinder engine out of a 64 f350.will it swap in where the 223 is? about 5 more h/p with lots more torque.is it worth doing?

Gary, I don't recall that particular engine, but all the Ford sixes I've been around have been reliable engines. Wether it's a big advantage or not is debatable, Mark

The 262 is a heavy duty truck engine. I'm not even sure what kind of trans would bolt up to it, or even find parts for it.
I'd stay with the more mainstream 223.
