Heater Delete Cars

It looks like my car was  heater delete optioned, or rather no heater optioned car by the parts that came with it.  It is a 63B and came with the radio, heater, and clock dash delete plates as well as the two firewall delete panels.

Question: If a car did come from the factory with the heater delete option, what did Ford do on the engine where the heater hoses attach to the motor and water pump?

Does anyone have pictures?

I've never seen one but perhaps they had a special bypass hose made specifically for that application.

Good question buy the way.

If I was a gambling man, would bet they'd be the kind with a female square drive like you find on water pumps and intake manifolds. Should be readily available at a good hardware store.
