This past Friday eve, we attended the Clear Lake, Iowa cruise-this is the home of the Surf Ballroom where Buddy Holly preformed before his plane crashed. The weather was awesome, 80 degrees and a light breeze. This was the 30th year for this show. There were 970+ cars lined up for this cruise, which was escorted around the lake- 20 miles, by a restored 1958 Ford Police car. Hundreds of people sat along the route to watch. Then on Saturday over 400 returned for the show down town. There were cars there from Iowa, Mn, S.D., Nebraska. I have tried to post multiple pictures but I must be doing something wrong-great time!

Now that sounds like a great show and cruise. To post multiple pictures, the total size must be less than 4000. Your one pic is 3800. They need to be resized.
We had our local annual Polk Street Cruise here last weekend. Just two '57's...a blk and gold Fairlane I'd seen at numerous shows and I was very surprised to see John Stromberg's ranchwagon....last time I saw him, the car had about 4 years of dust on it. Good to see it up and running..now if he'd only put one of his out of this world paint jobs on it...!
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe
