When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

A nice easy to get modern sliver that matches the Argent is Code "1F7".  Any paint store can mix it.

I'd mix it in a base-coat, then clear with a flattened clear, as it wasn't very glossy.

I think that a '57 Ford looks best with a silver(Argent) Valance Panel.

Ford sold it in spray cans part# D7AZ-19000-A.  That number has recently been superceded but, you may still find some in stock.

Any Ford Partsman should be able to look up the new number if you can't find any D7A. Also Seymore has a very good match in a spraycan.

Good luck,

Ron.
