59 head light switch

can you use a 59 head light switch in a 57?i have 2 nos 59's

I looked at Dennis Carpenter and Concours Parts catalogs. For some reason they both list 57 and 58/59 as 2 different part numbers. It may have to do with the fuse arrangement on the back. I would try it particularly if you are wiring the car.

i looked at the 2 switches.the 59 one has a extra fuse holder on the back and extra terminals for the dome light. the rest of the terminals were the same.it fit in fine so i am going to try it
