Hi All,
Still planning how to proceed with the country sedan wagon.  Right now, I'm thinking hard about installing a hub-to-hub Mustang II setup.  I couldn't find any threads on here yet where anyone has done that.  Anyone out there?  I looked at JW Rod Garages and their kit actually lowers 4".  I'd prefer to keep the ride height approximately stock, so now I'm thinking about just getting a universal hub-to-hub kit.  I've done front clip tranfers in other vehicles before so I'm not really worried about the work involved, just looking for a good driver when I'm done.  Would love to hear your thoughts.  Thanks in advance...

Others may have an different opinion, but I think most will agree the Mustang II has no advantage over the oem setup, which is why you see it so rarely done. Years ago when I first started researching on the '57's, I knew the Mustang II was the popular swap to do on most cars. I was surprised to find that Fatman didin't offer one, so I called them to see if I had missed it somewhere. At that time they were not making one (maybe do now), and I was told the reason was they couldn't improve on the oem, so why do it?!
Posibly more room for engine would be the only reason to do it, I would think.
Any other opinions?
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

Thanks Rich.  Considering that right now I'd want to replace all ball joints, control arm bushings, convert to P/S, upgrade to discs, replace the drag link and tie rods, and get new springs, I'm actually looking at the Mustang II as a slight cost saver, believe it or not.  I was also thinking the frame welding would be easier on the hub-to-hub kits than replacing all of the parts individually, since I've tried both routes in the past on other cars.  I'm probably going to end up with a SBF in the wagon, so I don't think engine space will be an issue either way.
