 :3some: A few years ago I had a rolling chassis, 55 Chevy, 2 dr sedan. I put a 428 FE in it. C6 trans, 9" rearend. I went 11:20's with it in the quarter mile. When the Shevy guys seen it, they cried like you wouldn't believe it. I LOVED IT---A little pay back !!!!!!!!!

Wish I could afford a '57 corvette.  I'd put an F code Y Block in it.  The chevy bunch would freak out.

I also owned a 57 vette in my 20's. My wife who was my girl friend at the time would drive it to high school. Her friends thought she was a cats meow. It was all original.

I fixed my family car (55 Nomad) back in the early sixties. Put a 365" Cad & Hydro
in it. What an improvement!

 my first shevy was a 57 210 2dr wagon, after a few 283's and a 301 i decided to drop a 401 nail head in it. everyone thought i was crazy. look where i'm at now , lol
