I am looking at fitting a early 352 Ford engine into a 57 Fairlane. It is a auto and has all parts less engine. I am thinking that If I change the bell housing on the auto to a early 352 housing every thing should bolt up. The 352 is a manual that I can strip back to the crank. Any thoughts. Thanks Phil

Yup, change the bell and associate clutch parts and you're good to go.

OK, he will need to get a flex plate for the FE series, an alignment plate (flat piece that goes on the block before the flywheel or flex plate) and a torque converter.
