I will send a high resolution PDF of the original '57 Ford Engines and Transmissions booklet (low res example of E Code page shown below) to anyone who will share Data Plates from models 63A or 64B that have the Color code AV.

Bribes aren't usually necessary here, lol. I suspect no one with those codes has seen your request, if there are any members that even have that code.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

As far as info I have seen, AV exterior code would have come with either White vinyl with red cloth inserts or White vinyl with Black cloth inserts unless special ordered.  My car is Black and Red exterior, when I bought it the guy before me had redone the interior in Red vinyl with Black vinyl inserts, which I prefer to the white/red combo. Next time I am out at my garage, I will check tag codes and post them on here for you. Bob

enthusiastm, you'll find that one of the real pluses of this site is the freely sharing of information. If you haven't seen it yet check out the ''Technical'' area and the first thing you'll find is a treasure trove of Ford factory information for everyone's access. Do the right thing and post your engine and transmissions booklet there. Knowledge by its basic nature is meant to be shared not hoarded.

EM,
What color is the painted metal in your interior? (dash, window tins)
If the paint is original it should match the primary interior color.

I'm very happy to share. I searched for fifteen years for that booklet before I finally got one, then professionally scanned and corrected each page before assembling them into a paginated PDF document so I thought it worth trying to get some data plate info out of it.

Evidently I can't upload the high resolution file anyway, but I will upload a low resolution version as soon as I can.

Still looking for AV Color Data Plates. Meanwhile based on the information I've been able to collect, mostly from 1957Ford.com's registry, the Trim for a Fairlane 500 Club Sedan or Town Sedan with exterior Color code AV Raven Black/Flame Red would've been "R - Gray Basket-Weave Fabric & Gray Sculptured Fabric".
Victorias with Color code AV would've been "AJ - White Vinyl & Red Silver-Shadow Fabric" or possibly "U - White Vinyl & Black Silver-Shadow Fabric", and maybe "AT - Black Vinyl & Gold Ripple-Wave Fabric", but I haven't been able to confirm the latter.
