Seat base/skirt, what's this bit called?

The bit arrowed is missing from my Ranchero, what is it's official name?  Was it used on other model years or is it 57 specific?

OK, scratch that, a Google search shows T-Birds were completely different.

59 used those too.  I got some for a 59 a while back, and they are the same as my 57 parts that I just got.  So, 57-59 parts all the same.
