Rich...  there is only one choke tube on the Left header.

LOL...I found out a local shop owner here is a Hamb member...goes by the name 1947Knuck. Yesterday, I told him  I was a Canuck, was he? Is that what  the 1947 Knuck stood for? He said, no not Canuck, knuck..the k is silent...short for knucklehead. He's into old Harleys.

As far As I know it was sold to me as a Hedman Header set up.I was told they were made specifically for a FE/57-58 for swap.\
Yes.... I will have to make custom gaskets.... but I want to plain the mating surfaces to ensure a clean tight area.

OOOPs, missed that in the first post I had tunnel vision on the pictures. Those sure are Unique.

Those are indeed early Hedman's.
The small tube is for the choke hot air pickup.
Early FE's picked up air from the exhaust while the Y-Block came from the crossover
on the intake manifold.

Hedman also made 2into1 pipes to connect to the mufflers.
The old cast port models are very hard to find nowadays.
