I got his first one, and yes, it is definitely worth the money.  Far far better than that older one from the late 60s early 70s.  Plus, there is a detailed build of Richard Stuck's 57 F-code 312 in there.  The new book is more performance oriented.  I haven't gotten it yet, but all I hear about it is good.  Charlie Morris is a great guy, and knows a lot about these old Fords and how to make them run.

Yeah, the first one deals with basic overhaul of a 292, then coverage of the performance build of Rich's stroker F code.  The second book has stuff like identifying desirable Y parts, casting numbers, stuff like that, then the building of the Y for performance.  Also has a listing of currently available hi-po goodies for the Y, Mummerts stuff, etc.  You wont be disappointed, I assure you.
