was at our local friday night cruse night a few weeks ago and got talking to a guy [has a nice 57 fairlane sedan]we got talking 57 fords and he got looking at my wagon and said to me he thinks he knows the family who had owned my wagon in the 60's.well a lady called me this week and sure enough we checked s/n and it is the car her dad bought in 1961 from the owner of a plumbing shop in claresholm alberta that the plumber possibly bought new.they used it as there family car and kept the car in the family till they sold it in 2013 to the person i got it from.she has sent me some pictures of the car before and after they did the body and paint in 1995.they also told me that when her dad died in 2012[thats why it was sold,to settle the estate]they used the wagon to take her dad from the church to the cemetery

great story. Glad you got the history on the car. Mine is gone forever most likely.

Wow, that is a neat coincidence. It would be great if you could share the old pics. Did you get any from 1961 ? They surely must have taken pics back then.
A little off topic, but I have a 1953 Volkswagen pickup truck, and after a lot of coincidence I found out that it was a former flower car of Vienna, and sure enough I got pictures from 1957 showing exactly my truck. It was used at the funeral of Austrians president Mr. Theodor Koerner in 57.

That former owner must have loved his car, as he was taken to the ceremony in it.
