There is really nothing that can be said about the loss of an invaluable site like John's except it is a tragedy!  I can't even begin to count the number of times I visited it for information that didn't seam to exist anywhere else.  Very sad. 

I like many of us old buggers have very limited computer skills, couple that with a fundamental miss trust of all the hackers out there I choose to stay in the 60s, (just got my first flat screen TV last year).  That said, I would be of no help to him or James other then putting a few bucks in the mail from time to time.

Yes it was very expensive over the 16 plus years. Had three special servers, seven different computers many other parts over the years. A lot of the information I paid big bucks for. You have to renew all those domain names every year, plus the monthly hosting cost. NO PAY TO PLAY HERE. It was never hacked, had great protection. James can add some new sections to his site if he would like an add some of my sections. More info later. THANKS, JOHN

John's site was full of information.  I spent hours on it over the years.  I loved the "Models" Section where you could see literally hundreds of cars of a particular '57 Ford Body style.   Example 70A or 70D.

I learned a lot, thanks John!
