At the risk of showing my gross lack of knowledge regarding a Hydro-Boost set up.........do I want just the Hydro-boost or the Hydro-Boost and the Master Cylinder. I'm looking at 2003 and 2004 Mustang GT 's.
If the correct answer is both the Master Cylinder and the Hydro-Boost, is there another reservoir that can be used in place of the plastic reservoirs I see in photos of these units on Mustang GT' s?
Thanks
John

Yes, Rich Kurberski just finished one up...he has a thread on it in the brake  boosters section, including what he used for the master. Unfortunately though, I don't think he ever posted a pic of the final, so maybe you could prod him a little.
note the comments he made regarding the push rod.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

just to add....I really wanted to see a pic of his because when I was "looking into doing mine", the first thing I realized was that on the Mustang unit, the mounting bolts for the hydoboost's master were in a verticle position, and any normal master that I've noticed, has the bolt pattern in a horizontal position...so maybe the particular vintage booster he got is different from my '02 Mustang

Thanks Rich.........I'll look it up. I'll be in Tn, Al. and Ga. in a few days and have possibly found a Hydro-Boost unit or two in these states along my route. Based on your photos, it appears that I need the entire assembly.....M/C and Hydro Boost. As I said, I known nothing about these set ups, other than I know I need one.
Thanks again, and Happy New Year

Hydro Booster can be rotated 180 degrees.  I have never tried 90 degrees but it would be worth checking.  Wilwood makes vertical bolt pattern dual master cylinder.

Mine is upside down to OEM mounting.  I used OEM master for years and recently changed to Wilwood.
