57 ford air condioning which is best an what to use ?

heard vintage air has some drawbacks,how about old air or vintage or whoever ?? im not goona install so would like some recommendations on the subject i found some vintage under dash units for a 57 ford looks cool but whats the drawbacks to using them besides the space issue thanks

A vintage under dash unit is eazy.You can change ex.valve for 134a.Lot less work.Somewhat noisy tho.
