Carb I.D. help

Can anyone help with the proper identification of this carb?  I need to buy a rebuild kit for it.  No tags and the only stamp is "EDB" on the side which I referenced to a 292 ci engine.  Been looking online at photos and the Autolite 2100 is close but mine has a square instead of a round, I guess its a fuel bowl vent.

The EDB letters would indicate it is probably a late '50s carb, so just ask for a kit for say a '58 Ford with a 292 engine.  Those kits cover a wide range of applications, so almost any kit for Ford/Motorcraft/Autolite of that era will fill your need.   John

Should be Autolite 2100 series 2 barrel, the 4100 is the 4 barrel.

I'd guess 57 292 Autolite by the accelerator pump. Been a long time since I rebuilt a 2bbl though.

Yours is a unique 57 2V FORD Series 2100.

The accelerator pump is unique and you must determine if the overhaul kit has this pump diaphragm included. One kit may cover other 2100 models also and may include different components to cover many models..

The last kit I used had the later, short stem, diaphragm.  It also had a short rod to use in the '57 carb to replace the original diaphragm.  I don't know if current kits have this rod.   John
