Response to wanted

Why is it that times when you respond to somebody needing a part you never hear from them again ?. they just disappear into the world wide web.

I would think that they had found the part their looking for locally. In which case they should get back to you, say thanks for the offer but have found one closer by. Usually the I conduct business anyway.

I get the opposite where I inquire about a part on craigslist and never get a response. I assume they sold the part and cant be bothered to take the ad down. Frustrating.

Chero, You could be talking about me. I have requested a few things in the wanted section, and had mixed results. If I don't hear something in a month or two I just give up.I'm guilty of not looking at my computer for a week or two at a time also.
