It might have just been a long day, ...but is there a trick to re-installing a stock sway bar?   Figured the bushings were going to be tighter than the old ones that just fell off, and didnt realize they'd be that tight, but got those slid on in the aprox places finally.   Now it doesnt seem like the bar is even the right shape to come near the mounting points.   No eng/trans and front clip,  do the arms and springs need to be compressed to line back up?

I'm sure being uncompressed makes it more difficult, even compressed it's a little fight. When I did my front end and removed the bar my first thought was I was glad I didn't have to reinstall it and used the after market bar..

Ok, thanks.  Thats good to know.  When i took it out it just unbolted and eased down, no springy action that i recall (but the bushings were very dead).  Thought i'd have to fight the rubber parts, but then figured i could slap it back in there.  End of the night guess i was the one getting slapped.
