I bought jamico rear springs. they were the best priced at the time. They come 1-3 inch lower. They have new shackles to. They have a great web site. My car is not done yet so I cant say how they ride.

Look in the phone book (under truck parts/rebuilders) and you should be able to find a spring shop. They can rebuild your springs to you specks, or make you new ones. Remove the springs and take them to them. Just about every 55 thru 58 Ford I've owned in the last 30 years I had to repace the rear springs, and I've had a rebuilder do them for me. I removed and repaced the springs, the rebuilder rebuilt them with a new main leaf, added a leaf, gave me the shackles, rubbers, and U bolts cost was just under $300 for everything.

Thanks for the hints to this point.  Anyone else discover something that fits and the cost is right?  Lets share.
