Frame number

A old freind came by to visit while I was working on my '58 and said he has a car "like mine" on his farm and I could have anything I wanted from it.He is not a car guy and I don't want to drive 2 hours just to look at it.I asked him to look at the data plate and give me the serial number ,but he called back and said the data plate and front fenders were missing.I know on some of the older Fords (like my old '46)the frame had a serial number stamped on the front frame horns.I have looked at my frame and don't find any numbers.Does anyone of you know where and if Ford stamped '57/'59 frames?

Look at the frame, passenger side just forward ofthe firewall.  That is where I found mine.  It may be very faint.
