1958 FE Ford Headers

Has anyone tried to install these shorty stainless steel headers advertised on Ebay.  About $120.00, free shipping, ad says they will fit 1958 Ford with FE motor.  Probably will fit the motor, not to sure about in the car.

Not a lot of room between the steering box and #7 &#8 exhaust port on 57-59 Ford cars. I have the FPA headers on my 428CJ powered 59 2 door sedan, not cheap, but they fit great. I would be VERY skeptical about a no name set of supposedly  "stainless" headers that sell for $120., but you could be lucky.
1959 Meteor 2 door sedan , 428 Cobra Jet 4 speed. Been drag racing Fords (mostly FEs) 47 years and counting.
Previous 50s Fords include 57 Custom 4 door, 2 57 Ford Sedan Deliveries, 59  Country Sedan, and as a 9 year old, fell in love with the family 58 2 door Ranch Wagon.

Ordered these $120 headers.  They are well made stainless steel, look good, will fit most FE engines, BUT, they will not fit in the car.  So anyone looking to buy these should not go by their fitment chart.  They did pay for return shipping, so did not cost anything to gain some knowledge.
