Looking for a 272 V8

I have a 272 and it needs rebuilt . If it were the original I would rebuild it but lack time . So I am entertaining looking for good runner . So I am looking and might buy if the price is right . If to high may just go with a 302 ? Thanks I am in Washington state . May take me awhile to respond . Send pics if possible

I just left WA state. Have a friend there still who is a 57Ford lover...(Ranchero) will know where to go for a 272 rebuild. what part are you in? East/West? North/South?
