Sometime ago when I was restoring car I installed original horns I did notice that they are not that loud is this normal? or is there a way so I can make them louder?
Also, I notice my wipers arms where they attach to motion mechanism looks to be worn out and slip changing position of wiper when they stop. Is there a way to restore or better to buy new wiper arms?

Can't help with the horns as I have not heard mine yet. But for the wipers, they are a tight slip fit with grooves and if that is worn to the point they are slipping start looking for new ones.

I uses swap meet horns for a few years. They were not loud enough, so I ended up using Lincoln Mark Viii horns from my donor car. I seem to remember seeing a thread about cleaning/repairing horns, but it could have been on the Hamb.
Your wipers slipping. Eric, are you sure it's the arms that are slipping on the knurled post? it could maybe be something in the cable/pulley system slipping./?
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

I've had single, optional mountain horn on two '57s...loud enough.

Hi Richi, I just pulled the wiper arms out and everything looks in good shape. The splines on the wiper arms look good (not worn out),but I think at the wiper knurled point, wipers arm might be slipping there or like you say I will look into the wiper cable puller system.

I know it looks a little bit complicated. Thanks for the link!
