My 70A is now red and I'm planning to use red painted rims and BFG TAs with white letters.   I have 4 driver quality 57 caps that could use painting. I know the original 57s had white paint and the 58s had gold.  Anyone experimented with some other colors?   How about removing the paint all together?   :glasses9:

I have a couple with no paint at all, and to be honest, I dont like them.  I would go with either white or gold, maybe black like the slightly different 56 caps...

You could try to match the white letters on the TA's as this will be the only white on the car. I had the local sign painter do mine,he does  auto lettering, murials, etc. and was a wiz with an airbrush. KID

The 55-56 Ford dog dish caps that I have seen on EPay have a red background and look kind of nice.  The 61 Ford caps just have the Ford letters in black. Anyone ever experimented with using caps from any other years?  I am looking for a 60s Hot Rod look and don't care about originality.

I prefer the 60's cap by far.
