2 inch blocks in the rear...  and about a coil and a 1/4 off the front....  a coil and 71/2 inches to be exact!

Very pretty car. I love that colour combination with the wide whites.

My Fairlane sat way too high and looked wrong to me.

I have cut coils in the past, done the heat and bend trip and bought lowering coils but this time I did something different.

I had read that using Aerostar coils would drop it 3 inches and not effect the ride. Lowering coils up here = $450.00 , Aerostar coils = $160.00 . I gave it a try.

The body sway dissapeared going into corners, the ride dropped 3 inches and even with the 390 anchore it doesnt bottom out. For the rear I used 3 inch lower blocks. It did not throw out my alighment doing the exchange. After driving like this for a month, I did the Ranchero too. They just look right at their new height.
