Block block cranks up on the first turn... It's Alive!

After two years of work, my custom now has a running big block motor between the fenders.  Take a look at http://www.lakefrontflorida.com/57ford/its_alive.html .  Motor fired up on the first turn and no oil or water leaks.  Amazing...

I have been watching your project from time to time. You have done a super nice job on your car. I love the FE's in these cars, they are so cool lookin and they make great horsepower, a perface match. I was wondering if you checked your radiator cap to hood clearance. I have about 3/16" between my cap and hood. A tight fit with the custom aftermarket radiator's. I just love to see these cars resurrected from the dead, and your car will look and live a long new life. Oh, I know the feeling very well when a FE comes to life with the first crank, man what a heart pounder it is...LOL Good Job.

Haven't had the hood on yet.  I'm aware of the radiator cap clearance issue.  I made my radiator support adjustable so I can crank it down if I need to. The drive shaft is in and I am waiting for a set of mufflers before I try to move it.  I'm finishing the floor insulation this weekend and will bolt the front seat back in next week.   Next move will be the headliner, then the front and rear glass.  I need to go through all of wiring and make sure all is working.  The list goes on...
