body line on ranchero quarters...

Is there a difference between A and B 57 Rancheros and the body line on the rear quarter wheel well? I see so many with a concave and just as many without the concave.

anyone know.. I'm puzzled.

looked in the ford parts book,they list only one part number.also looked at the ones i have and they look the same

I think the original factory panel had the indentation.  Many aftermarket patch panels do not have.  IMHO.  John

All the aftermarket panels except EMS do not have the concave.  EMS makes the ONLY correct panels out there.  I made the mistake of buying one of the cheapies for mine, have to buy an EMS now, because this one looks totally different.  Live and learn, never try to save a buck on replacement sheetmetal, you'll be sorry.
