Will a windshield from a fairlane post fit a 300 custom?

hollander says the fairlane used a different windshild than the custom.if you measure the height of the windshild you will find the fairlane one is about a inch shorter[someone else told me they are shorter,have not checked myself]

This is some info that I saved from an E-bay ad by someone selling 57 windshields. Hope it helps.

FORD 1957 OR 1958 2 DOOR COUPE & 2 DOOR SEDAN 70A CUSTOM, 70B CUSTOM 300 4 DOOR SEDAN 73A CUSTOM, 73B CUSTOM 300, 2/4 DOOR STATION WAGONS, RANCHERO PICKUP & SEDAN DELIVERYS all use one windshield


2 DOOR HARDTOP VICTORIA 63A FAIRLANE 500, 63B FAIRLANE, 51A FAIRLANE 500 RETRACTABLE, 4 DOOR HARDTOP VICTORIA 57A FAIRLANE 500, 57B FAIRLANE, CONVERTIBLE 76B SUNLINER, 2 DOOR SEDAN 64A FAIRLANE, 64B FAIRLANE 500, 4 DOOR SEDAN 58A FAIRLANE, 58B FAIRLANE 500 all use the other one.

Thanks for the information. I new the no post fairlane was different, but was not sure about the post.
