RICH MUISE

Months back we talked about making new 'splashpans'(?) for under the headlights and behind the grille. I just found some photos of the process I used so I'll redo the post with a few pics and a lot less words.
the first pic shows my old parts...one was good enough to cut, flatten and use as a template for 2 new ones. The flattened piece is lying on a piece of 18 gage with blue dykem layout fluid.Second one same as first...just remember to bend opposite from first.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

I bought a pair of splashpans on ebay about a year and a half ago. They were new and made by a sheet metal shop. The person said they needed some for their own 57 but had extras made to sell. They are nice. I never found them posted again so they must have sold out fast.  Take care, John
