I just saw on the news about the wildfires.  My family will be praying for you and your families.

Thanks James...We live in the city...the fires were on the outskirts, and not close to us, but still pretty scary for those who lived out there with up to 70 mile an hour winds constantly changing directions. Haven't heard if there were any down Pat's way in Lubbock (125 miles s.w.) Rich

Thing are pretty dry down in the Hill Country too.  We are under a burn ban.

The winds were really heavy and were lots of fire around us, even fairly close to my shop.   My brother in Amarillo had a friend loose a barn and a few cars.  Very few losses considering the situation.   The fire crews did an amazing job controlling the outbreaks.  Everything is fine for my family and friends.

The next morning the wind was gone and the weather is nice again.

Thanks for all your concerns.
