computers for dummies

We recently purchased a new computer, it was set up with this website on my toolbar for ease of logging on.My old computer had this site on the bookmarks column. I could log on,click on unread posts, or replies to my posts, and all unread posts would list. On the new computer, and on my laptop, the toolbar location never posted the updated posts. I switched it to the bookmarks column, and its good. Any ideas?  Mark

Mark...with your new stuff make sure when you come on the website, it's logging you on, not as a guest. If It isn't logging you on automatically, or at least when you were gettin it set up, it won't show unread stuff if it thinks you're a guest.
