Front Crossmember

Can anyone tell me the proper name for the metal crossmember that connects the front fenders together and has the (Fairlane) script attached to it. I am looking for one and do not know the proper name... Thanks

I paid $75 to some guy in New Mexico for mine, rust and dent free, nice chrome letters. Of course this has been 2 years, but they're still out there, just getting more expensive.

Yes, I have a friend checking on the condition of one he has, he thinks it has a couple of dents not sure about the amount of rust. I also sent a P.M. to one of our members inquiring about what appears to be one in a photo. All that said yes still looking nothing confirmed yet..
