brite lites

time for 1 of my dumb questions,      sisnce i'm not a electrion,    the head lites r normal with the dash red lite on, and red lite off when there on high beam,     wires have to b crossed, but don't know which ones,  any one know?,   thanks

There are no dumb questions if you need to know the answer.  The most likely place where the wires are crossed is at the junction block on the inner left fender panel at the front.  Use a meter or test light to find which wires going into the block (side of the block toward the firewall) are hot in each of the positions of the dimmer switch, and switch them.
