Door seal fitting

OK, more "how do these fit?" questions...... 

I'm fitting the new door seals to the Ranchero and there is one part of the seal that is thicker than the rest, a length about10 inches long, see picture, this area marked "X".  Does this bit go against the upright part of the door marked "A" or the horizontal bit marked "B"?
