borgeson power steering pump

   I am wondering if the 57 steering column needs to be modified in any way to use this setup. I am triing to avoid shortning or modifiing the origonal column.

Yes it does.  The stock column shaft is integral with the steering box, the Borgeson box has a short splined input shaft.  You will need to modify the stock column or go with an after market unit.
