Looking for ideas on interior

I am nearing completion of my 57 Ranchero. This is a "Custom" job, I have some ideas about the interior, going to use buckets out of a 61 T-Bird. If anybody has some pictures of the interior of a Custom tht you have or saw at one time, I would appreciate you emailing them to me. Trying to decide on mainly what to do on door panels and the area behind the seats.I am having the seats done in Burgandy and Grey and could use the same color combination on the door panels. Just need to come up with a design pattern for them. Any ideas would be appreciated. Please email as attachments to me at smjfritz@charter.net

I would use a center counsol out of 60s Galaxie or even the Bird the seats came out of.  For the doors I would use 500 style panels and design with your colors.  The dash would be satin finished in the colors the rest of the interior is.  Gray on the top and bottom and the burgandy in the center.  Matching grey carpets.

   I am using 63 Galaxie center console it fits perfect a direct bolt on ,also am going to use 63 T Bird seats got the seats but am looking for power tracks.

The latest issue of Rod & custom Feature a couple of cars with those Thunderbird seats. you can get some ideas from the MAg.  I will try sending you some photos this evening.

Thanks for your feedback. I will look for the Rod and Custom Mag. On the 63 Galaxie, does the center console go all the way up to the dash? I need some room for my floor shifter conversion. Don't know how that would work with a full length console?

The 63 console only comes up to the bottom of heater. I bought a console that had a column shift so the panel didn't have any holes in it there are some on ePay. cut a hole for my floor shift mounted the boot on top of console. Came out better than I thought it would.
