anyone done this? if so, what parts did you replace/rebuild/reuse?

I've ordered the insulator for the top-side shift lever and the grommets/bushings for the shift levers on the firewall side... anything else available as a replacement part?

thanks,Mark

Hi - I rebuilt my shift linkage and found the only worn parts are the bushings on the shift arms (lower part of steering column) and the shift lever insulator.  I would recommend that you take a picture of the unit before disassembly, although the 57 Ford Shop Manual has a good schematic for re-assembly.
