I'm also running a 460 with a C6 in my 57, but, can you tell us more about the C6/E40D you are using?

I think Julios C6-AOD trans.is the low gear set.You end up with a 2.75 low and a bit lower 2nd gear.High is still 1 to 1.Works very well.I knocked off two tenths in my 60 foot time along with a 3000 stall convertor and almost a half a second on the run.

welcome to a great sight. I have a question about your 300, is it a Canadian built Ford and if so are there trim differences. I'm retired as well, with the idea I would do all the work on my car, but  My car needed body surgery that was beyond my skill level. My Fairlane 500 is in the paint mod and when back the work will start to put it back together. I went with the 4.6 4 valve Cobra supercharged engine with 6 speed trans, 4 wheel disc brakes, rack and pinion and vintage air.  I hope to get another 57 later that I can do the work myself, learned allot so far. The 57 Ford are my favorite 50's car
