Latest issue of Hot Rod magazine is featuring several coyote swaps, short piece of one going into a 57 Fairlane. My off topic truck has the coyote 5 liter and its really an incredible engine. Just not many out there used yet and spendy they are.

Read it, thought they could have done much more with the details.  Using the engine "as is" rather then making mods to it to adapt to the chassis such as oil pan, intake and exhaust.  The sub frame thing is really good if you have deep pockets or lots of friends and/or talent beyond turning wrenches.  Those of us that live in the "real world" still need (or choose to) to do the junk yard thing to build a ride.

I would not subsribe to the GM public relations paper if it were'nt a gift, they seem to have lost sight their and our roots.

I have not read it. Maybe I will pick up a copy, more than likely not though. I do not like the way Hot rod had headed. It's either new car mods or REAL expensive Rat Rods. I prefer some other ones out there that have come out. Yeah, you still have some Rat Rods, but I think their wind is dying.
