Man, I hate to sound like a jerk about it, but I will admit that I am a `57 Ford snob. There is nothing that can be done to make them better, as they are already the best looking, in my opinion. About as far as I will go is the 56 Ford F100 headlight rings, but I still like the factory rings better. Like I said on the HAMB in that 57 ford thread, FoMoCo spent millions of dollars designing the perfect car, and some clod comes along with a bondo trowel and thinks he can improve it? Hardly. This is typically the result of misguided attempts at "kustomization"...the rat influx only makes it worse. I hate rust and crappy paint. Nothing makes a car look worse as far as I'm concerned. Like Norwell said above, rant off for now...

If the bids are real and not being posteed by the seller. Look at the bid history, if you check the hi bidders history, it says he only has 5 feedbacks. This whole thing is starting to look like a pump and dump.

All the high bidders bids were removed lasr night, top bid went from $8100.00 to $7600.00. There is no way that car has any value above driveline parts.

i need to clarify something here. Tim, your (Tom's) 57 does not fall under the monstrosity umbrella. That Custom is a great looking car now and when Tom had it. I am talking about those piles of crap where you have to squint to see that it used to be a 57 Ford. Mild customs are cool, that thing above is the furthest thing from cool. Not gonna bag on any members car, but that chevy powered pile needs to be put out of its misery.

James, don't worry, I never took offense to any comments. It's just one persons vision as opposed to another's. But, with that said, some just take it to far! I am sure that we are all in agreement on the topic of this car. Tim
