We brought this up once before, but I can't find it and don't think it had the info I was looking for. What I would like to know is if anyone has done a modification to the stock, or oem style replacement, gas tank to add an in the tank fuel pump and return line. OEM style being the key words here....I know some of you guys have done the trunk mounted fuel cells, but I have no need to go that route. This is for the Custom/fairlane "normal" body styles.

I saw them install this one on one of those tv car shows.  Looked pretty easy to do other than cutting a big hole in a 57 year old tank.

Seems I've seen articles in street rodder about converting a tank to modern fuel delivery recently, sorry I don't have the time to research it, but I would look there for a tech support.  Mark

This is one of those topics you forget to ask owners about at car shows. Thanks for the response guys. I guess most of the members here are running external pumps.
Lorne..thanks for bringing that particular pump back up...had seen it a year ago, but lost the info on it.
If you look on ebay, you see prices for all types of pumps..oems starting below 50. got me to wondering if there were any factory type in tank pumps that could be adapted to our '57 tanks. This was something that slipped my mind before I got rid of the Mark viii's I stripped.
