Hood Bond?

Maybe Jim, the Brass alloy was thought to be a good conductor.Ford would never pull that sales Gimmick thing,would they?

I can't honestly comment on Ford, I've never had any dealings with a car dealer. But my wife worked in the parts/service dept of a GMC/Buick dealership for 20 years and I know what went on there  :003:

Ford Blue blood

The "V" thingy was on the 62 Bird I built and on a 62 Bird rag top I sold and on my 66 Falcon Ranchero.  They just faced front to back instead of side ways like the 57.  Don't know when Ford stopped putting them on, the 65 Bird I'm currently working did not have one but it was taken apart when I picked it up.  Never thought to look for the tell tale scratches before I painted it.....

Somewhere in my foggy memory I think my 66 F250 had one originally.
